What are Organizational-level roles?
Suppose a member of staff needs access to more than one center within your group but isn't a physical member of staff in those settings. In that case, they may benefit from receiving an organizational-level role.
These types of roles are particularly useful for an organization manager, that needs to be able to see an overview of all the group's centers, without being added as a staff member in each of them. Or, perhaps, an organizational administrator who needs to be able to update information about particular centers but doesn't necessarily need to be an active member of staff in each one.

Organizational Manager Roles
As a senior manager of an organization, you will need oversight of all of your centers. To do this, you will be assigned an Organisational Manager role. This role has automatic access to everything, in all settings, and has all permissions granted. This role cannot be edited.

Additionally, as an organisation manager, you will have access to an overview of your centers, and whole-organisation reports. You can find out more about these in the article here.
Area Managers
If you're an area manager, as part of a larger chain, we do not recommend an organisation role - these are designed for access to every setting in a group. Instead, create a role called 'Area/ Group manager' and then assign this role all the relevant permissions you need. You can then add this role as a member of staff in all of the centers you look after.
Other Administrative Roles
As well as an organisational manager, there may be other staff who need differing levels of access to all your centers. You can create organisation-level roles, with different permissions, to suit your group. For example, you might create an organisation-level role for your HR manager (with access to staffing for your centers) or accountant (with access to the financial information of your settings)
You can read more about creating a role in this article: Creating roles for your staff at your center.
