Editing a Promo Code
Updated over a year ago

Editing a Promo Code gives you the ability to both change, delete or re-establish an existing promo code, allowing for flexibility and changeability in your discounts throughout the season.

This article will take you through what you can do when looking to edit a Promo Code.

  1. When on the Promo Codes screen, you will see all the existing Promo Codes with details surrounding how many have been Redeemed vs number of allocation, and Revenue generated as a result.

  2. In order to edit a Promo Code, click the 'Edit' button on the far right of each Code. Once doing this, you will reach this page:

At this point, you are free to edit how many times the promo code can be redeemed both in total and by a single fan account.

You can also add another ticket you would like the promo code to be redeemed against and which fixtures / events the code applies to.

Finally, you can change the code expiration date depending on how long you want the code to be valid for.

However....

Certain functions cannot be changed to protect those already with the promo code:

  • Promo name

  • Promo code

  • Percentage off

  • Existing tickets using the code

  • Existing fixtures and events the code applies to

If you are looking to change any of these functions in the promo code, it is best to create a different Promo code altogether, and use the 'archive' function on the existing code to make it invalid.
