Overview

Rain Gauge sensors provide detailed insights on rainfall for your property. To see how often the rainfall data is recorded view this article.

Rainfall Graph and Tables

Within your rainfall graph, you can quickly see rainfall summary for:

In the top right-hand corner of the graph, you will see a List icon. When you click on the icon, it will show you a list of the rainfall samples from your rain gauge sensor.

Click between different date ranges to view your rainfall for the last 48 hours, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, 60 days, 13 weeks, 12 months or 24 months. The date arrows in the top left-hand corner allow you to move between time periods and compare.

Current vs Historical Rainfall Comparison

Compare previous rainfall data from your rain gauge to current using the 'Compare Time Periods' dropdown below the graph. Select to compare historical data from 'Last 30 days to previous 30 days', 'Last 13 weeks to previous 13 weeks', 'Last 12 months to previous 12 months' and 'Last 30 days to same 30 days last year'.

A legend will pop-up as well in a comparison banner that displays previous total rainfall for that period compared to current total rainfall for that period.

Please note your rainfall samples on the right hand side of the graph will not be visible whilst comparison feature is being used.

Compare Rain Gauges

If you have more than one rain gauge you can compare these side by side by selecting the 'Compare Rain Gauges' drop down next to the 'Compare Time Periods' dropdown.

Here you can select up to three rain gauges from that site. The top comparison banner will update to display total rainfall per rain gauge over the chosen comparison time period.

Select the 'x' next to the rain gauge name to remove it. To add a rain gauge click into the field and select from the menu or type. Select the 'x Clear' option to the far right of the comparison section to clear all comparison filters.

Daily Rainfall Resets

In the bottom, left-hand corner, you will see the time the "Daily Rainfall Resets". This is an editable field so that you can change it to align with your weather service of choice.

For example, resetting at 9 AM like the Australian BOM or you may prefer to reset it at 7 AM to match when you manually record rain on your property.

Note: You must have Admin role permissions to update the Daily Rainfall Reset time. Learn more about this here

In the bottom, right hand corner, you can see the total rainfall displayed in the graph. This field is dynamic and will update as you change the graph across different time periods.
