Introduction
In order to maintain system integrity and prevent potential issues, the automation settings for pump control are disabled when the pump control is either running or in an error state. This ensures the pump is off before making any changes to the automation settings.
Automation Settings Disabled
If the pump control is currently running or experiencing an error, the automation settings will be temporarily disabled. This means that you will not be able to update or modify the automation settings until the error condition is resolved.

Enabling Automation Settings
When the pump is running
Simply click the 'Stop' button either in MyFarmbot app or at the physical Pump Control box to regain access to the automation settings.
When the pump has an error
To resolve the error and regain access to the automation settings please follow the troubleshooting steps here. Once the error has been resolved, you will be able to update the automation settings as needed.
