What are Fixed bundles?
Fixed bundles are a bundle type in which you can offer specific items together, giving customers a fixed set to purchase without offering a choice among different items. However, you could offer different variants of the items in a bundle, such as size or colors.
This type of bundle can be added as a widget to the main product page:
And it can also be displayed as a separate product (Bundle as Product or BAP):
The variants of fixed bundles can be shown as a dropdown menu:
It is possible to show the fixed bundle variants with color swatches:
The Fixed bundle can be displayed horizontally, as well, like the image below.
To achieve this, please navigate to the Boosters tab a select the "Place bundles anywhere" button:
Insert your Fixed bundle in the following section:
Choose Horizontal display, and copy the Bundle liquid code, then:
Go to "Online Store" > "Themes" > "Customize".
In the theme editor, click "Add section", select "Custom liquid", and paste your code into the custom liquid section on the page you want the Fixed bundle to be displayed horizontally.
If you want the Fixed Bundle to be displayed horizontally on the included product pages, we recommend disabling the following option in your bundle settings to prevent the bundle widget from appearing twice on the page.

What are some use cases for Fixed bundles?

How to create the Fixed bundle:
Follow these easy steps to create a fixed bundle with a specific set of products.
1. Start a New Bundle
Click "Create New Bundle" on the Home or Bundles tab to open the bundle creation menu.
2. Select Bundle Type
Choose "Fixed Bundle" to create a bundle with a specific group of products.
3. Add Products
Select the products you want in the bundle in two ways :
Search by Name: Find products by typing in their name.
Search by SKU: Enter the exact SKU for a specific product. This search returns only exact matches.
Once you have added the products to the bundle, set the exact quantity for each item that must be purchased:
4. Set Discount Options
Choose the discount type and set its value.
Percentage Discount: A percentage of the total bundle price is deducted as a discount. For example, 10% off the total price of the bundle.
Fixed Discount: A specific, fixed amount is deducted from the total bundle price. For example, $5 off the total price.
Set Price: The bundle is offered at a fixed total price, regardless of the sum of the individual product prices.
Free Shipping: Shipping costs are waived for the bundle purchase.
No Discount: The bundle is offered without any price reduction or special offer.
Cash Back Credit: If the customer purchases this bundle, instead of receiving a discount, they will get cash back to use on their next purchase.
5. Bundle as Product Setting
A Bundle as a Product (BAP) will be created for fixed bundles by default. You can disable this feature if you prefer. For more information on BAPs, refer to this article.
6. Name Your Bundle
Choose a name and title for your bundle, and add any additional information or media.
AI assistance is available to help you craft a title and description.
If your store supports multiple languages, you can click the icon below to enter the title and description text you want to display in each language.

7. Configure Cart and Order Display Options
Choose how the bundle appears in the cart and on orders:
Multi-BAP: Show the bundle as individual products.
Cart Transform: Show the bundle as a single item in the cart and with its included items in the checkout.
Single-BAP: Show the bundle as a single product.

8. Set Bundle Display Location
Display options:
On the product pages of included items.
On a dedicated bundle's page(BAP).
9. Advanced Settings
In this section, you can set the discount label and active dates for the bundle:
Discount label:
Enter the text you’d like to appear as the discount label in the cart and at checkout when the bundle is added.
Active dates:
Set a start and end date for the bundle. The bundle will only appear in your shop during this time.
10. Save and Preview
Click Save to finalize. Then, from the bundle creation page, click "View on Store" to view the bundle in your shop.
What are some ways to promote Fixed bundles?
1. For your Bundle as Product page to appear more like a product, it is recommended for the Bundle as Product (BAP) page picture to be a picture of all of the included products together, instead of a carousel of the included products shown separately.
2. You can add all of your BAPs or bundles to a page and add the link of the page to your navigation bar. To learn more, please click here.
3. You can add all of your BAPs to a collection and feature that collection on your home page.
4. You can feature a BAP on your homepage to increase views on the bundle.
