You can sell a product exclusively as part of a bundle, so customers won’t be able to purchase it individually in your online store. The Fast Bundle app creates a standalone “Bundle as a Product” (BAP) for Fixed and Mix and Match bundles, and the steps to sell products only in a bundle vary depending on the BAP type used in your bundle.

If you’re using a Single BAP bundle, follow the steps below to ensure the product can only be purchased as part of the bundle:

1. Navigate to Shopify Admin > Products > Choose your product > In the Publishing section, click on the icon below:

2. Toggle off the Online Store sales channel, and press the Done button.

3. Save the changes.

This removes the product page from your storefront so customers cannot buy it individually.

1. In the Fast Bundle app, create your Fixed bundle

2. In the Details section, under "How to present the bundle in cart, checkout, and order," select Single BAP.

3. Save the bundle.

Now the product can be successfully purchased as part of the bundle only, and it is no longer available for individual purchase.

If customers click the product name to view its product page, they will be redirected to a 404 page, because the product is not published on your Online Store.

If you have a Fixed or Mix and Match bundle with Cart Transform BAP and want to sell the included products only as part of the bundle, follow the steps below.

1. Navigate to Shopify Admin > Products > Choose your product > Open the drop-down menu in the Status section > Choose Unlist

2. Save the changes.

⚠️ Important note:

Unlisted products won’t show up in your store, collections, or search results. Customers can only see them if they visit the product’s direct link

When a product is unlisted in Shopify, it will not appear in your store’s navigation, collections, or search results. Customers can only access it by its direct URL. Therefore, if customers click on the product name in the bundle, they can still view the product, because even though it is unlisted, it remains accessible through its URL.

In Multi BAP bundles, each product in the bundle is added to the cart as a separate line item. This means that after the bundle is added to the cart, customers can use the quantity selector in the cart drawer or on the cart page to adjust the quantity of any individual product and purchase it separately.

Because of this behavior, it is not possible to sell products exclusively within a bundle when using the Multi BAP bundle type.
