If your trip requires approval, you will see a warning 'badge' on the results page when you select your fare.

If selected, you will see a pop-up advising your trip will require approval.

Complete the booking process as normal - you will notice on the checkout page the button shows as Send for Approval.

Go through your pre-confirmation page (adding any extra products as required), then complete the booking with the 'I'm Done Booking for Now' button. Your trip will now be sent for approval.

Your trip will show as Pending Approval in your trip confirmation, My Trips and Upcoming Trips.

Once submitted, your approver will be notified by email along with the time limit for approving your travel.

If either approved or declined, you will receive a notification.

Good to know: Hand baggage only bookings expire the same day as booking so keep an eye on the approval for this, and, Low Cost flights bypass the approval process - so make sure you have pre-approval before booking these!
