How do I handle an error message displayed on the Feno Smartbrush™?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If your Feno Smartbrush displays an error message, don’t worry — most issues can be resolved quickly. Here's what to do:

🛠 Step-by-step troubleshooting

  1. Restart your device
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds, then power it back on.

  2. Check for updates
Open the Feno App and make sure you’re running the latest firmware. The app will prompt you if an update is available.

  3. Review the error message
Look at the exact message on-screen. Common ones include:

    • “Wi-Fi not connected” → Make sure your Wi-Fi is active and try reconnecting in the app

    • “Excessive bite pressure” → Ease up and bite gently on the Mouthpiece

  4. Reset Wi-Fi connection
In the app, go to Settings > Device > Reset Wi-Fi, and follow the steps to reconnect.
