Fernwayer sends system-generated emails about the things you need to know — new bookings, cancellations, listing approvals, account changes, and messages from Travelers. If any of these end up in your spam folder, you may miss something important.
This article walks you through setting up your inbox so Fernwayer emails always land where they should.
What emails Fernwayer sends
Fernwayer sends emails from the @fernwayer.com domain (including noreply@fernwayer.com and info@fernwayer.com). You'll receive notifications about:
Booking alerts — immediate updates for new bookings, cancellations, and reschedules
Chat messages — every time a Traveler or Fernwayer Support sends you a message
Experience updates — approvals of new Experiences, temporary holds, listing changes
Account updates — changes to your Profile or account settings
Payout notifications — when payouts are initiated
These emails are essential for managing your Experiences smoothly.
For Gmail users
The cleanest way to make sure Fernwayer emails never go to spam is to set up a filter for the entire @fernwayer.com domain.
Open Gmail in a desktop browser
Click the Settings icon (cogwheel, top right) and select See all settings
Click the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab
Click Create a new filter
In the From field, type
@fernwayer.comClick Create filter
Check Never send it to Spam (and optionally, Always mark it as important)
Click the blue Create filter button
If Fernwayer emails are already in your Spam folder:
Open the email and click Report as not spam. This trains your personal Gmail filter and works alongside the rule you've just created.
As an extra safeguard, you can also add noreply@fernwayer.com and info@fernwayer.com to your Google Contacts. Gmail is less likely to filter emails from addresses in your contacts.
For Outlook users
Go to Settings → Mail → Junk
Under Safe Senders, add
noreply@fernwayer.comand save
If Fernwayer emails are already in your Junk folder, open one and mark it as Not junk.
For other email providers
Most email providers have a similar option — a safe senders list, an allow list, or a filter rule. Look for these in your email settings. Adding @fernwayer.com (the domain) is more thorough than adding a single email address, since it covers all senders from Fernwayer.
Confirm it's working
To check your setup:
Search your inbox for a recent email from
noreply@fernwayer.comor another Fernwayer addressIf you don't find any, check your Spam or Junk folder
If you find Fernwayer emails there, move them to your inbox and mark them as "not spam" or "not junk"
If you're still not receiving Fernwayer emails after setup, message Fernwayer Support in Chat.
