FOR AFFILIATES: Who Fernwayer's Affiliate Program is for, and who it isn't.

The Fernwayer Affiliate Program is designed for independent digital content creators — people who reach an audience through their own writing, photography, film, or voice.

Who the program is for

You're likely a good fit if you're one of these:

  • A blogger or creator covering slow travel, cultural heritage, food, design, or photography

  • A newsletter writer with an engaged base of subscribers

  • A long-form travel creator on YouTube, Substack, or your own blog

  • An Instagram or TikTok voice whose audience trusts your taste

What these have in common is an audience that travels deliberately — readers and followers who care about where they go and who they spend their time with. That's the audience Fernwayer is for, too.

Who the program isn't for

The program isn't designed for:

  • Travel agents, concierge services, and B2B resellers — anyone whose model is booking on behalf of clients. The Fernwayer Affiliate Program is referral-based: you recommend and link, but you don't book for others. (If booking on behalf of clients is what you're looking for, this program won't be the right fit.)

  • Sites built on AI-generated or scraped content — Fernwayer looks for original, human-authored work.

  • Profiles with low-resolution imagery or inauthentic engagement — bought followers, bot activity, or engagement that doesn't reflect a real audience.

Experience Makers are welcome

If you're a Fernwayer Experience Maker who also runs a blog, newsletter, or channel, you're welcome to join. There's one detail specific to your situation, which the article I'm an Experience Maker — can I also join as an affiliate?explains.

Travelers

The program isn't open to Fernwayer Travelers yet — for now, it's designed for creators who share Fernwayer with an audience.
