FOR EXPERIENCE MAKERS

Updated over a week ago

When evaluating Experiences for approval, we prioritize several key elements that reflect our values and goals in providing exceptional travel Experiences. Here's what we focus on:

  1. Local and Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrating a deep understanding and insider knowledge of the place and people where the Experience occurs. We encourage experts from all fields to share their passions on our platform.

  2. Storytelling Ability: The capacity to create engaging narratives that captivate and educate Travelers throughout the Experience.

  3. Welcomingness: Extending warmth, friendliness and hospitality, ensuring every Traveler feels safe, included, and valued, especially in unfamiliar settings.

  4. Authenticity, Rare Access, and Immersive Connection: Offering unique access or perspectives not typically available to the average Traveler. This includes fostering a connection between participants and the local culture or environment.

  5. Multi-dimensionality: We especially value Experiences that are layered, incorporating multiple components such as varied locations and activities within one Experience. This should include clear 3-4 stops and a food stop (a snack/coffee for Experiences lasting a few hours or lunch/dinner for a full day). Where possible, involve others besides the host in sharing insights.

To enhance the likelihood of your Experience being approved:

  • Demonstrate Unmatched Expertise: Articulate how your experience goes beyond general knowledge to offer deep, insider insights and expertise into your field or location.

  • Craft an Exclusive Experience Flow: Your itinerary should detail the Experience and highlight its exclusivity, immersiveness, and the special access it provides.

  • Emphasize Authenticity, Storytelling, and Welcomingness: Illustrate how you will share the story of the location or activity in a way that makes the Experience authentic and engaging.

  • Build in Thoughtful Inclusions: Clearly outline the high-quality, seamless inclusions that justify a premium experience—whether it’s dining, rare access, opportunity for connection, or convenient transport.
