Your Experience listing isn't a one-time submission. As your Experience evolves — seasonal changes, temporary closings, feedback from guests, better photos, updated pricing — your listing should reflect those changes.
What you can update yourself
You can update these fields at any time, without editorial review:
Photos and video
Booking cutoff time
Languages offered
What to bring
Where to meet
Save your changes, and the update goes live.
What benefits from a conversation with your Fernwayer contact
For more substantive changes, contact your Fernwayer contact or reach out via Chat with Fernwayer Support first. These are the basis on which the Experience was approved in the first place. They include:
What is this?, What makes this unique?, and What's Included
Price
Minimum and maximum group size
Duration or the overall shape of the Experience
Category or Experience type — Private, Shared, Shared with Private Option
Title — especially if you're substantially rebranding
Many of these fields can only be edited by Fernwayer Support on the back end. Your Fernwayer contact can help you think through the change and make sure it lands well before it goes live.
How to update your listing
Navigate to the Experience. From your My Profile, click the Experience tile for the listing you want to update — or find it however you'd normally view it.
Click the share button. At the bottom of the Experience page, beneath Where will we meet?, you'll see a share button. Click it.
Click the pencil icon in the dropdown that appears.
Make your edits. The Experience description form opens, pre-filled with your current information. Update whatever needs updating.
Save. Click Save and Continue through the Steps, and finally Update to publish.
Adjusting your Booking Cutoff Time
The booking cutoff time controls how far in advance Travelers can book. It's one of the most useful fields to adjust seasonally — a longer cutoff during high season, a shorter one during low season if you can accommodate shorter notice.
Follow the How to update your listing steps above. The booking cutoff time is the sixth field in Step 3: Provide Experience Details.
A useful side effect: reducing the booking cutoff makes previously-unavailable dates bookable again. This is helpful if a Traveler contacts you asking to book something within the current cutoff window. For the full workflow, see Can I Accept a Booking Within the Cutoff Time? in the Booking Calendar collection.
How updates affect existing bookings
Updates you make apply to future bookings only. Travelers who have already booked will experience the Experience as they booked it — and we honor all the inclusions and prices as they were when the booking was made.
Change in pricing or group size
When your Fernwayer contact updates your Experience's price or minimum/maximum group size, the change applies going forward. However, if you already have a Booking Calendar set up with the previous price or group size, the existing calendar entries will still reflect the old values until the calendar is recreated. To apply the new pricing or group size to future dates, delete the existing schedule and create a new one with your updated Experience details.
Getting help
If you're unsure whether a change is something you can update yourself or if it needs a conversation first, chat with your Fernwayer contact or Fernwayer Support before making the change. A quick conversation is always faster than reverting a change that didn't land the way you wanted.
