📱 II. Fieldwork Office App (Mobile)
This section covers the real-time logging functions—Clocking In, Logging Breaks, and Clocking Out—performed using the mobile application.
2.1 Accessing the Timesheet
Log into the Fieldwork Office App.
Navigate to the Calendar view and click Timesheet located at the bottom of the screen.
2.2 Starting Your Day (Clocking In)
Clock In: Tap the large field to the right of the "Clock In" button on the Timesheet screen. The system automatically records the current time you pressed the field.
Note: Time entries can only be made for the current day in the Fieldwork Office App.
Time Adjustment: You can manually change the recorded time before the entry is saved (e.g., if you forgot to clock in exactly on time).
Confirmation: The screen will update to show you are Clocked In.
2.3 Taking Breaks
Return to Timesheet: Return to the Timesheet screen by clicking the Timesheet button at the bottom of the Calendar screen.
Log Start Time: On the line labeled Breaks, click the Start button.
Enter Note: In the pop-up window, enter a Break Note (e.g., "Lunch," "Admin Break").
Click Save to log the break start time.
Click Cancel to abort the break logging process.
End Break: Once your break is complete, return to the Timesheet screen and click the Stop button on the Breaks line.
The break start and end times will be logged, and your status will revert to Clocked In.
2.4 Logging Out and Ending Your Day
Clock Out: Return to the Timesheet screen and tap the "Clock Out" button. The system records the exact time you finished your shift.
Confirmation: The system generates a time entry for the day in a Draft status. Review the recorded times for accuracy before submitting it for approval (via the Desktop).
2.5 Limitation: Editing Saved Time
⚠️ Important Limitation: Once a time entry has been saved (either by clocking out via the app), it cannot be changed by the Technician on the Fieldwork Office App. Any subsequent changes require Admin rights and must be performed on the Fieldwork HQ Desktop (Browser).
