LED light indicator & Power button

LED light colors and their meanings

Updated this week

IMPORTANT: This guide is relevant for users who are using Fieldy version 1.0.7 A or below. For versions above, please see this article.

You can check what version you are using by connecting your Fieldy, going into your account and finding "Current Device Version".

The Fieldy device uses a color-coded system to indicate the battery level, connectivity status and other important events.

The power button is located on the side of your Fieldy.

During a normal operation of the device the following lights will be encountered:

  • Blue (steady) - connected, battery charged

  • Blue (blinking/breathing) - ready to connect, battery charged

  • Red (steady) - connected, running out of battery

  • Red (blinking/breathing) - ready to connect, running out of battery

On button short click - checking battery percentage:

  • Green, Orange or Red - indicates the charged, medium, and low battery level respectively.

  • Red blinking 3 times followed by going to sleep - indicates that the device needs to be charged.

On button long press (1 second) - turning on or off:

  • No light - indicates that the device is in sleep mode/turned off.

On button very long press (10 seconds) (v1.0.4+) - fully restarting:

  • Blue LED blinks 4 times - indicates that the device was power-cycled (performed a clean restart). This feature is intended as a troubleshooting step and you do not need to perform it if your Fieldy is working as normal.

If you’re encountering any other color or combination, or your LED light clearly does not match what you’re seeing in the app, please message us and we will help you resolve the issue.
