Memories & Transcriptions

A quick guide to finding your conversation transcriptions and making the most of your memories.

Updated this week

What is a Memory?

The Fieldy app stores all your conversations as memories. A memory remains ongoing while the wearable detects speech and automatically ends after a 5-10 minute period of silence.

You can end it manually by tapping "End Memory" or view the ongoing transcript by pressing "Show Transcript". Once a memory ends, it may take up to a couple of minutes for it to process and finalize.

How do I find past memories?

To access your past memories, swipe down on the Today screen or click "See Past Memories" (pictured above). The further up you scroll, the older the memories you'll see.

Click the spyglass icon at the top to search for keywords in your memories.

What can I do with my memories?

Click any memory to view its detailed summary. This is an automatically generated summary to cover the key points discussed in your conversation. If you'd like the detailed summary to be formatted differently or cover other points, you can select a preset template or create your own. See more about templates here.

To share, copy, export, delete a memory, or bring it to the AI chat, click the 3 dot menu in the top right corner of your memory.

How can I see the full transcription?

To view the full transcript, open a memory and tap the button with the lines icon at the bottom of the screen (as shown).

Alternatively, scroll past the summary and tap "Transcript".

What do the bubbles with letters below the summary mean?

Fieldy can currently identify up to six speakers in a conversation. The bubbles labeled Aโ€“E represent these different speakers.

If you've set up your Speaker Profile, in the transcription your speech will be marked with a bubble showing a person icon instead of a letter.
