How to hear the connected mic or headset sound in real time?
1. Check if the SC3 mixer is set up as the default input and output device in both system sound and software audio settings.
2. Make sure that the mic channel is not muted, in which the mute button doesn't turn on white light, and the microphone fader isn't all the way down to zero.
3. Turn on the MIC MONITOR. After that, the button will keep a solid white light.
4. If a headset is connected to the headset port while the mic is plugged into the XLR port, the headset will take priority of audio input. Thus, if you don't have the headset mic audio, just plug the headset into the headphone port instead for listening purposes.
5. Check whether your mic needs 48V phantom power or not. If yes, then turn on the phantom power with the 48V button, which will turn on white.
