After connecting to the wall outlet and pressing the power button, does the receiver's red indicator light up?
Use fresh batteries for handheld mics. After switching them on, do the mic screens and both A & B indicators on the receiver turn on and stay solid?
Is the audio source hooked up to the R+L in jack, while the output is connected through the R+L out?
Are all volume controls on the receiver/speaker set to a decent level?
