My friends do not hear on Discord!

There are quite a few reasons for it. Please follow the steps below to see if the setups are all correct.

1️⃣When using the FIFINE AmpliGame H9 headset with the included USB control box, check if the mute button on the box is activated and if the volume is turned up enough.

2️⃣Then click into "Sound Panel" - "Recording Devices" to make this H9 USB device is default input. Double-click it, find the "Level" tab to crank up the input volume level.

3️⃣If the headset is plugged into the 3.5mm port of your laptop (you can't do it on a PC that doesn't have a combo 3.5mm jack or has a dedicated mic jack), then click into "Sound Panel" - "Recording Devices" to make the internal audio device is default input. Double-click it, find the "Level" tab to crank up the input volume level.

4️⃣Open the audio settings of your Discord (or other software that you are using) to confirm that the input and output are both H9 headset (when using the audio box) or the internal audio device (when plugging the H9 directly into the combo 3.5mm port of a laptop).

Is there a link for this microphone driver?

Sorry no. All FIFINE USB headsets use a universal driver built into Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chromebook systems. So there is no specific driver to download. If the driver fails to trigger the automatic installation on Windows, just follow the steps below to update and reinstall the driver. For the other system users, please check out the corresponding tabs.

Chromebook

Will H9 work on a Chromebook?

Since it can be detached from the included USB audio box, as long as your Chromebook has a combo 3.5mm port, you can plug the H9 headset directly into it without worrying about whether the version of the system will fit.

But if there's only a USB port available, then you will need to use the USB connection of the H9 and check if your Chromebook is using one of the system versions below. Because of the variations of the Chrome OS system, we have only confirmed that the computer models and system versions below work.

Toshiba Chromebook 2 (2015) with OS Version: 67.0.3396.99;
Acer R11 with Version: 71;
Acer C720, Acer C740, Samsung Series 3, and Samsung Series 5 with OS Version: 72.0.3626.117.

Then download a Voice Recorder app from the Play Store, and you're good to go.

Mobile

How to use H9 with smartphones (Android and iPhone) or tablets (Android and iPad)?

Since this H9 has both 3.5mm and USB connections, it's quite flexible when it comes to compatibility with mobiles.

If your phone or tablet has a headphone port, then the best way is just to plug the H9 in without the included USB audio box.

When using it with phones that don't have a 3.5mm port, the connection depends on the adapters that you have. You can either use the headphone adapter to connect through the 3.5mm jack of the H9 or use a proper USB adapter to hook up with the USB audio box attached.

Android with a micro-USB port needs a micro-USB male to Type-A female adapter.
Android with a Type-C port needs a Type-C male to Type-A female adapter.
iPhone/iPad with a Lightning port needs a Lightning male to Type-A female adapter.
iPhone/iPad with a Type-C port needs a Type-C male to Type-A female adapter.

⚠️Highly recommend the adapter from the Apple store if you do want to use the mic for your Apple mobiles.

Game Console

How to use the H9 headset with an Xbox?

Just plug the 3.5mm jack into the Xbox controllers or controller adapters. Don't use the included USB audio control box with the Xbox consoles; no third-party USB audio devices can be used with the console.
