Self-Troubleshooting for D6
1️⃣ Restoring Device Connectivity
A. Device Detection
If the D6 isn't immediately recognized, or it shows "Device Not Connected".
Solutions:
🟢Replace the USB Cable: Use a certified USB data cable (charge-only cables will not work).
🟢Check USB Port: Plug directly into a USB 3.0 port; use ports on the back of your computer for stable power delivery. Avoid USB hubs, docking stations, or front-panel ports (on desktops).
🟢Restart Your Computer to resolve driver conflicts.
B. Grayed-Out Controls / Unable to Add Plugins
All buttons/plugins appear disabled in the software.
Solutions:
🟢Update Firmware: Open the D6 software → Go to the Device tab → Click Update Firmware.
🟢Reinstall Software: Uninstall the D6 software. Download the latest version from the official links:
🟢Reset Software Settings: Navigate to General → Click Reset All Devices; Go to Device → Reset all settings.
C. Stabilizing Software Performance
Device/software freezes after several minutes of use.
Solutions:
🟢Check for Plugin Conflicts: Temporarily remove third-party plugins (some may cause instability). Then reinstall plugins one by one to identify the culprit.
2️⃣ Buttons Not Responding
Physical buttons do not trigger actions.
Solutions:
🟢Check Connection Status: Ensure the D6 software shows "Device Connected."
🟢Run Software as Administrator: Right-click the D6 software icon → Run as Administrator(Some games/apps block hotkey permissions without admin rights).
3️⃣Plugin/Interface Display
Plugin or icon panels appear blank/black.
Solutions:
🟢Reinstall Software (as detailed in Section 1B).
🟢Change Software Language to English:
Non-English languages may cause display errors.
Go to General → Language → Select English.
🟢Check for Updates: Navigate to General → Check for Updates.
