This guide will walk you through the options and considerations for using FIFINE microphones with your phone.
Why Mobile Use Isn't Generally Recommended
Most FIFINE USB mics are designed for PC, where they can draw consistent power and utilize full driver support. Connecting USB mics to smartphones presents two main challenges:

How to Connect FIFINE USB Mics to Phones
If your FIFINE microphone comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable, please try connecting with these steps:
📱 For Android phones and iPhone 15 & above:
Connect the mic to your phone with Ua SB-A to USB-C to USB-A adapter (OTG compatible)
Enable OTG connection in Settings
Check your recording app's audio settings to select the external mic
📱 For iPhones under iPhone 14:
Use a Lightning to USB Camera Adapter
Connect your microphone to the USB-A port of the adapter
You may need additional power via the adapter's Lightning port
Troubleshooting Tips
Power issues: If your mic isn't detected, try connecting to a powered USB hub first
App compatibility: Ensure your recording app supports external microphones

FIFINNE TANK2 has been tested and confirmed to work stably with mobile devices, providing reliable performance for smartphone recording.
2. Updated USB-C to USB-C/A Cables
AM8, K688, A6V/T, A8, SC3 K669B, and T669 now come with Type-C to Type-A/C cables for better mobile compatibility!
For optimal performance, we still recommend using FIFINE microphones with computers, but we're continuously working to improve mobile compatibility based on customer feedback and technological advancements.
