There are some easy ways to check if the FIFINE K688CT microphone, which includes the K688 mic and CS1 boom arm, fits your desk.
Reach the desk clamp entirely into the desk edge with 1.7 inches(40 mm). The width of the desk edge you used should be less than 2.1 inches (55 mm).
Use a bank card to check it - 3.3 inches (85.5mm) in length and 2.1 inches (55mm) in width.
The width of your desk edge had better to less than the width of the Bank Card.
Can the K688 be attached to a boom arm?
The thread size is standard 5/8". To attach the mic onto a scissor arm stand, you need to screw the 5/8" to 3/8" adapter that comes with the arm to the shock mount in the first place. How to set up the K688 through the USB or XLR ports?
The package comes with a type-C (microphone end) to type-A (computer end) audio cable.
For USB connection, you just need to take one end of the cable to the microphone, and the other end to your PC, laptop, Mac, or PlayStation console, or even mobiles through a USB adapter.
XLR cable is not included, either the audio interfaces. Thus, in order to hook up the mic through XLR, you need an audio cable, as well as the device to receive and convert the analog signal, such as a mixer, an audio interface, or a recorder with XLR input.
How to test the K688 works on Windows and Mac after the USB setup?
