Chrome has recently introduced split view for all your tabs, which works well with First Draft Pro to see two views on your screen simultaneously.
To start a split view Chrome, follow these steps:
Open your project in two tabs.
On the second tab, right click on the tab to open the menu and select "New split view with current tab."
βA split view will start and you might see an error message "Please view this full screen on a desktop computer."
Go ahead and zoom out to about 75%. The shortcut is ctrl and - on Windows and cmd and - on Mac.
Once you zoomed out, your project will appear. From here, collapse the right-hand side menu to create more space for writing.
β
First Draft Pro requires a minimum screen width to display the app. When the split view reduces the width below that limit, FDP temporarily blocks the view. Zooming out gives the tab enough space again, and the app will load normally.
