  • Unlimited projects and AI summarization tokens

  • Track changes

  • Scene-by-scene version history

  • Support for images in your notes and manuscript

  • Real-time collaboration

Free plan

Anyone can try First Draft Pro out for free to see if it's a good fit for their writing process. Your free plan never expires, and gives you access to the basic features of the app. Compare Free and Premium features.

Choose the payment schedule that works for you

On the Premium plan, we've made monthly and annual plans available. You'll be charged as soon as you upgrade your account.

Accounts for collaborators

When you have a Premium account, you can invite as many collaborators to your projects as you like.

Collaborators can use a Free account to work on your project, but they won't be able to access advanced features unless they also have a premium account.

Bulk licensing

If youโ€™re part of a team or writing group, work as a book coach, or if you represent an agent or publishing house, you can purchase multiple licenses for your authors.

Educational licensing

If youโ€™re an educator, you can purchase an educational license for use in your classroom.

Trusted payment portal

First Draft Pro uses STRIPE to process monthly online payments. You can manage your billing details through your account settings. We accept all major credit cards.
