Our support team will sometimes direct you to this page to get a better look at what's going on in FitXR from your point of view. If you're wanting to share your workout results on your Quest device, we've added a feature using Meta's native share feature to the end of your workouts - You can check the guide on how to do that here.
Taking a screenshot (Quest devices)
There are two ways you can take a screenshot on your Quest
Method One:
Make sure you're in the correct position and can see what you'd like to capture
Hold down the Quest Home button on the right Touch controller
While holding down this button, press the trigger on the right hand controller
Release both the trigger and button at the same time.
Method Two
Make sure you're in the correct position and can see what you'd like to capture
Press the Quest Home button on the right Touch controller
Navigate to the Sharing section of the Home menu
Click Take Photo
Recording a video (Quest)
To record some gameplay footage, while in game you'll just need to:
Press the Quest Home button on the right Touch controller
Navigate to the Sharing section of the Home menu
Click Record Video
When you want to stop recording, you'll just need to bring up the Quest menu again and select 'Stop Recording'.
Sharing your photos and videos (Quest)
This process is a little bit painful at the moment, but we are looking for a way to make it less so.
Right now, if you'd then like to share your media, you'll have the option to upload this as a Facebook post, via Facebook Messenger, or you can connect your headset to your computer to export the file.
Once you've uploaded an image or video to Facebook (whether through messenger or as a wall post), you can usually forward it on from there by more convenient means.
If you'd like to use your computer, once you've connected your headset, go to My Computer and then drag files from your Quest headset to your preferred folder.
Meta have provided their own support article on how to do that, which we'll link right here for you.
