UPDATE: 17/09/23 @ 19:45 - INCIDENT RESOLVED
Meta have now confirmed that their review has been completed, and FitXR access has been reinstated. We've tested this internally and confirmed the app is functional again - but if you continue to run into issues please do contact us on support@fitxr.com, or use the Chat function in the bottom right corner to send us a ticket there.
Once again, I'm really sorry for any inconvenience or frustration caused - and thank you for your patience throughout this incident π
UPDATE: 17/09/23 @ 10:00
During the early hours of this morning we've been advised that the head of the department responsible for reviewing our status is out of office until tomorrow (Monday, 18/09). Sadly, this leaves us in a position where FitXR have done all we're able to - and we're now simply waiting for this persons return to complete the review.
We're incredibly sorry for the frustration caused here. As soon as I have further information I'll be updating everyone via the aforementioned channels.
UPDATE: 16/09/23 @ 18:00
Meta have confirmed that they've received the documentation that we've sent through to support the Data Protection processes of our sub-service. That is now under review, though sadly I've no timescale on when the review is due to be completed. Meta are aware of the severity and urgency of the situation; and their priority has been set in accordance with this.
As soon as I have any further update (whether that be a timescale for app reinstatement, or any further delay to this process) - I'll update here and via email for those who've contacted us.
ORIGINAL MESSAGE: 16/09/23 @ 09:00
FitXR is currently offline as Meta have queried the data protection processes of one of our sub-services. The service in question is used for cloud computing and data processing, is completely GDPR and PDPA adherent, and is HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, and FedRAMP Authorized. We've submitted this evidence to Meta, and we're currently just waiting for their response.
Sadly, until that happens, FitXR will remain inaccessible. However, as soon as it comes back online I'll update this article. In the meantime, if you would like to receive more immediate updates when the service status changes, you can contact us using the chat icon in the bottom right corner.
