Your assets have many things that need servicing and renewing, such as a Warrant of Fitness or Road User Charges. Fleetpin V2 has reminders to track these things, but reminders themselves do little to actively reminder you. This is where Reminder Notifications come in to save the day.
What are Reminder Notifications?
Reminder Notifications do as advertised: They send email notifications when a reminder needs actioning now or in the near future. The Setup is fairly simple:
Set up the assets you need notifications for
Choose which reminder types to notify on
Add emails, users or user roles to the recipient list
For a more detailed explanation on set-up, checkout the Set up section below.
An important thing to note about Reminder Notifications is how they notify, because they only notify once a day in the morning and only when reminder statuses have changed.
How do I receive Reminder Notifications?
Assuming the notification is set up correctly and you are a recipient in the Notification recipients section, you will receive an email detailing the assets with reminders which need actioning.

Set up
Only admin users can set up Reminder Notifications. If you need help with your user permissions, please contact support.
One of the ways to configure Reminder Notifications is through the Asset List's Manage notifications button, which opens the Reminder Notifications drawer.
Upon opening the drawer, you should see something like this:
If this is the first time you've accessed this section, then you likely won't have any notifications set up. To set up notifications, this can be done with the button on the bottom right of the drawer, it should look like this:
Creating or editing notifications will make the drawer look like this (see below). This view is similar to our alert set up process, it is where you set up, the assets, recipients, and what statuses to send notifications for.
If you are happy with the configuration, press the Create button on the bottom right or the Save button for pre-existing notifications.
Finally, if you would like to remove a notification, this can be done with the Delete button accessible when jumping into a specific Reminder Notification:
Additionally, notifications can also be created during reminder creation.
