Common Troubleshooting Steps
If something isn't working as expected, try these steps in order:
Check your internet connection -- Flippd syncs data to the cloud and needs connectivity
Force close and reopen the app -- This clears temporary state and restarts the connection:
iPhone (Face ID): Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle, then swipe the Flippd card up and off the screen
iPhone (Home Button): Double-click the Home button, then swipe the Flippd card up
Android: Tap the square (recent apps) button or swipe up and hold, then swipe Flippd away
Web: Close the browser tab completely, then reopen app.getflippd.com
Update the app -- Make sure you're on the latest version. Many issues are fixed in updates
Sign out and back in -- Go to Settings (gear icon, top right), then tap Sign Out, then sign back in
How to Check Your App Version
Open Settings (gear icon, top right) and scroll to the bottom -- your version number is displayed there
To update: visit the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) and check for updates, or enable auto-updates in your device settings

"Unable to Load Inventory" Error
Fixed: 2026-01-16 (server-side fix, no app update required) Affected: All platforms (iOS, Android, Web)What happened: A backend security update caused some users to see an "Unable to load inventory" error when opening the app.Resolution: The issue was resolved server-side. If you still see this error, try these steps:
Force close and reopen the app
iPhone (Face ID): Swipe up from the bottom and pause, then swipe Flippd off the screen
iPhone (Home Button): Double-click the Home button, then swipe Flippd up
Android: Open recent apps, then swipe Flippd away
Web: Close the browser tab and reopen app.getflippd.com
Sign out and sign back in -- Go to Settings (gear icon, top right) > Sign Out, then sign back in
Clear cache or reinstall -- Android: Settings > Apps > Flippd > Clear Cache. iPhone: Delete and reinstall from the App Store
Your data is safe -- everything is stored in the cloud and linked to your account.
Reporting an Issue
If you find a bug or something that doesn't look right:
Tap the ? Help icon in the header of any screen
Tap Live Chat to describe the issue
Include screenshots if possible -- they help the team diagnose the problem faster
Note what device and app version you're using (found in Settings at the bottom)

We prioritize fixes based on how many users are affected and severity
Critical issues (data loss, crashes) are patched as quickly as possible
