Why Location Notes Aren't Showing in Product Stock

Learn why location notes entered in Inventory Product Details don't appear in Product Stock, and how to enter them in the right place.

The Location Notes column in Floorzap's Product Stock page pulls notes from the Product Details section β€” not from Inventory Product Details. If you've been entering notes in Inventory Product Details and they aren't showing up in Product Stock, that's why. Always enter location notes in the Product Details section to make them appear in the Location Notes column.

How to Enter Location Notes

Location notes are set in the product's profile. Here's how to add or update them.

  1. Open your product list and select the product you want to edit.

  2. Click the product to open its profile.

  3. Go to the More Details section. This is where location notes must be entered to appear in Product Stock.

  4. Type your location note in the field provided.

  5. Click Save to apply your changes.

Verifying Your Note in Product Stock

Once saved, your note will appear in the Location Notes column on the Product Stock page.

  1. Go to the Product Stock or Inventory page and select Show Inventory.

  2. Find your product and scroll horizontally. Hover over the Location Notes column to see your note.

  3. To update the note at any time, click Edit on the product profile and update the location notes field. Changes will reflect immediately in Product Stock.
