Can Contractors See Documents on Jobs?
Yes — contractors can view documents and photos on jobs they're assigned to through the Floorzap contractor portal or mobile app. However, how you upload the document matters.
The Step That's Easy to Miss
Documents must be uploaded through the contractor view of the document section to be visible to contractors. Simply attaching a document to an invoice is not sufficient — the contractor will not see it.
How to Share a Document with a Contractor
Open the job.
Navigate to the contractor view of the document section.
Upload the document.
Check the checkbox next to the document.
Give the document a name — this is required for it to appear in the contractor's view.
Once uploaded and named, the document will appear in the contractor's job view in the mobile app.
⚠️ If you skip the checkbox or leave the name blank, the contractor will not see the document — even if it's attached to the job.
