Florence's Cancellation Policy

At Florence, we strive to provide reliable, high-quality staffing support to our homes. When a shift is booked, our partners count on us (and you!) to show up and provide excellent care. Our cancellation policy emphasizes the importance of reliability.

  1. Late cancellations (less than 48 hours): A $100 fee will be charged, deducted from your next pay.

  2. Early Cancellations (more than 48 hours): No fee applies.

  3. Repeat Cancellations: Frequent cancellations may lead to removal from the platform.

To cancel a shift, you MUST do so in the app:

  • Open the shift in the app

  • Scroll down, follow the cancellation steps, and provide a detailed reason for the cancellation.

What to do if you're sick:

We understand that illness happens and may sometimes disrupt your schedule.

  • Cancel as soon as you feel unwell directly in the app.

  • Email us a doctor’s note at hello.ca@florenceapp.com to have the cancellation fee waived.
