Your Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) needs to be less than 6 months old when you join Florence. If yours has expired, you'll need to apply for a new one.
If you're in Toronto (an "M" postal code), you can apply online yourself at tps.to/police-checks. You'll need Florence's agency code — 202309TPSON1FE43 — to complete the application.
If you live somewhere else, get in touch anyway. We'll point you to the right police service and explain how to apply.
Either way, it's worth starting early. A VSC can take a while to come back, and you can't work with us until we have it.
