How to Import Work Orders with the AI Assistant

Import work orders from a spreadsheet or CSV file. The assistant's importer agent maps your columns, flags issues, and produces an import-ready file.

Steps

  1. Open the AI Assistant.

  2. Upload your file (CSV, Excel, or similar).

  3. Tell the assistant you want to import work orders.

  4. The assistant displays a preview of the mapped data in the interactive table view. Review it β€” you can talk back and forth about what needs to change.

  5. Once the mapping looks correct, confirm the import.

What you can say

  • "Import these work orders from the uploaded file."

  • "I'm uploading our old work orders from ServiceChannel β€” map them into FlowPath."

  • "The category column in my file is called 'Type' β€” map it to work order category."

Tips

  • The importer agent handles CSV, Excel, JSON, PDF, and Word files.

  • You can review and adjust the column mapping in the table view before committing.

  • The assistant flags rows with missing or mismatched data so you can fix them before import.
