Sometimes one request arrives as several related files: a purchase order, a change note, a drawing, a terms sheet. Fluent can either process them as one combined request or as separate requests — depending on how you submit them.
Processing files together (recommended)
When files belong to the same order or transaction, you want Fluent to see them as a set. This way the Agent can reconcile line items, references, and context across files. There are two ways:
Email: attach all related files to the same email. Email attachments are always processed together.
Manual upload: drag all files into the upload dialog at once, and leave the Process multiple files together option turned on.
Processing files separately
When files are unrelated — for example, three different customer POs uploaded in one go — you want each file to become its own request. In the upload dialog, uncheck Process multiple files together. Fluent will create a separate request for each file and process them in parallel.
What counts as "together"?
When files are processed together:
Fluent treats them as one conversation with multiple attachments
The Agent can cross-reference data across files (e.g., a change note updating a PO)
The result is one request in the Documents list, with all files attached
Tip: Zip files are auto-extracted before processing, so you can send a zipped bundle of related files and Fluent will unpack it for you.
