Controlling who can use an Agent

How to share an Agent with specific users, your whole team, or the public.

By default, a newly created Agent is only accessible to admins. Use the Access tab to open it up to the right people.

The three access levels

Individual users

Add specific team members by searching their name or email. This is useful when only a handful of people should interact with an Agent — for example, a single AP team that handles invoices.

Team access

Toggle Share with [Team Name] to give every member of your workspace access. Use this for Agents that everyone uses, like a general-purpose document intake Agent.

Public access

Toggle Share publicly to make the Agent accessible to anyone with the link — no Fluent account required. When public access is on, you'll also see embed options:

  • Chat bubble — a script tag you can drop into any webpage

  • iFrame — embed the Agent directly in a page with configurable dimensions

Combining access levels

The three levels are independent — you can have individual users listed and team access on at the same time.

Embed codes only appear when public access is enabled. If you need to embed an Agent on an external portal or website, turn on public access first.
