Attention!

Please note that when accessing the GC3 Panel, it is important not to fully unscrew the bottom screw. Doing so may cause the screw to become stripped.

Seeing a Radio Not Responding or Dual-Path Communication (cellular) error? The following steps will help resolve this.

Tools Needed: Small Phillips-head screwdriver

1️⃣ Ensure System Disarmed: Make sure the system is disarmed and ready to be worked on.

2️⃣ Unplug Transformer: Disconnect the transformer from the wall plug.

3️⃣ Remove Panel: Loosen the set screw at the bottom of the panel and remove it from the wall by pulling on the bottom two corners.

4️⃣ Disconnect Panel Battery: Disconnect the panel battery by removing the battery connector.

5️⃣ Wait for 20-30 Seconds: Let the panel sit for 20-30 seconds to reset.

6️⃣ Plug Battery Back In: Reconnect the panel battery, ensuring the wire is tucked into the panel.

7️⃣ Remount Panel: Place the panel back onto the wall mount by hooking it from the top, swinging it down, and clipping it into place.

8️⃣ Plug Transformer Back In: Reconnect the transformer to the wall plug.

9️⃣ Wait 2-5 Minutes: Allow the panel to power back on and establish a connection for 2-5 minutes.

🔟 Start Radio Test: On the home screen, tap "System Settings."

  • Enter the 4-digit master code.

  • Scroll down and select "Cell Radio Swap."

  • Press "Start Radio Test," and wait for the panel to show "Successful"

  • Press "Done," then press the back arrow.

Please take a moment to make sure that the set screw is tightened securely to prevent your panel from falling off the base plate.
