When listing a Space in your venue, you can add an extra step in the booking process and mark a Space as Request to Book.
This function can be especially useful for speciality spaces, such as large event spaces, galleries, studio space or podcasting suites. It can also be used if you are listing spaces outside of your usual opening hours, or for spaces that may require extra staffing.
Once a User has selected the time and details of their booking through the platform, you will receive a notification. As Host you must then contact the User to confirm the booking before any payment is received and the booking is confirmed.
If you need any additional information in order to confirm the booking, always try to communicate this in a speedy manner with the User to efficiently deal with the enquiry and allow the User to complete the booking.
Please note that if you receive a request to book request, you have 24 hours to respond or the booking will be automatically cancelled ensuring unwanted bookings do not take up inventory.
