How to get started
Please reach out to your sales/account manager to ensure your account is eligible and set up with the right access.
Ensure you have created your client's Flywheel account and connected their marketplace data connections. The agency admin user will be able to create customized in-app dashboards directly within Flywheel within the client's Flywheel account.
Agency Admin User Experience
Step 1: Click on Business Intelligence within Flywheel, then click on “Create new Dashboard”
Step 2: You can create a dashboard from a "Blank Template" or copy and edit an existing templated dashboard, from the list provided.
If you choose the Blank template, you will need to choose the explore type to view the specific data to create the customized dashboard. (See FAQs for more info)
Step 3: Share with the Client
Once you have created a dashboard it will appear in your draft folder. This allows you to make additional customizations and ensure the data is set up as intended before sharing the client. Once you're satisfied with the dashboard you can “Publish” to the Client’s folder. This will create a copy of your dashboard for the clients. Once you have copies of the Client’s Dashboard you can make edits to the dashboard from the Published dashboard. Any changes to the draft version will not be automatically saved to the copied version.
Please ensure you are copying the right dashboard to the right client. While Flywheel will not expose any incorrect customer data, the dashboard titles will be visible to the client.
Once a dashboard is published you can verify what the client views by clicking on the Custom Dashboard from the left BI navigation.
Agency Clients Experience
Once dashboards have been added to your client account they will be able to navigate to the BI page to see all the dashboards that have been shared with their account.
