The invoicing mandate authorizes Folkyn to issue and transmit invoices in the freelancer’s name and on their behalf, based on the information available in Folkyn.
The mandate notably specifies:
The identity of the freelancer and Folkyn, as well as their respective roles.
The authorization granted to Folkyn to issue invoices in the freelancer’s name and on their behalf.
The scope of the mandate, limited to assignments and services managed through Folkyn.
How invoices are generated, notably based on approved timesheets and the billing information provided in Folkyn.
The authorization to transmit electronic invoices through Folkyn’s technical provider.
The responsibilities of each party: in particular, the freelancer remains responsible for the accuracy of their legal, tax and banking information, as well as their VAT status.
The duration and termination terms of the mandate, allowing the freelancer to terminate it under the conditions set out in the mandate.
The mandate does not transfer the freelancer’s legal or tax responsibilities to Folkyn. The freelancer remains the issuer of the invoice; Folkyn acts solely as an authorized agent to issue and transmit the invoice in their name and on their behalf.
The objective is simple: to allow Folkyn to automatically turn an approved timesheet into an electronic invoice, without requiring the freelancer to enter the same information again in another tool.
