Forage filters low-priority emails out of your inbox and sends them all to you in a beautiful summary once per day. This email contains all the types of email you've set to "Summarize" in your Preferences.

Your daily summary email is a smarter way to stay on top of your inbox. By focusing only on the content you care about and eliminating clutter from your inbox, it transforms your email experience without changing your workflow. It’s not just about saving time; it’s about creating mental space to focus on what matters most, with the confidence that you’re not missing anything important.

How it works

  1. By default, Forage Mail summarizes newsletters, promotions, events, transactions, and updates, but you can always change this with your Preferences. Read more about how to do that here.

  2. As soon as these emails hit your inbox, they will be labeled and moved to a folder.

  3. Forage then summarizes each email into easy-to-read bullet points and adds them to your daily summary email.

  4. You'll receive your daily summary email once per day at your preferred time.

Choose when to receive your Daily Summary

By default, your Daily Summary will be sent at 8:00am in the time zone you were in when you created your account.

If you'd like to change this time, you can do so in your Preferences.

Take action right inside your Daily Summary email

You can click any email in your daily summary to read the full email.

Read

Forage estimates the read time for any newsletter in your Daily Summary. Click the Read button to view the full article.

Modify

There are a few actions you can take on any email that Forage handles. This includes changing the label, muting the sender, unsubscribing from the sender, and providing feedback on the summary Forage wrote.

Unsubscribe

Easily banish unwanted senders from your inbox with a tap right from your Daily Summary email. You'll also have the option to archive any past emails from them that may be hanging around in your inbox.
