*Please note our revision history feature is in beta, which means it is an unfinished product not thoroughly tested.

The revision history feature is available for articles only and can be found on the top right-hand corner of the "Content History" section.

Click "Compare Revisions": Click on the "Compare Revisions" link located in the Content History section.

Scroll through revisions: This will bring you to a new page with a slider at the top. You will use this slider to scroll through different versions of your article.

In this example, Revision 3 compared to previous versions of the article.

Information provided: You will be able to identify the revision version, the date of the revision, and any changes made to the hed or body. The most recent version will always be on the right-hand side.

Adding/changing text: If you add additional text or change existing text, the changes will be highlighted in green on the most recent revision version.

In this example, the hed and body were both added (highlighted in green) and the generic hed was removed (highlighted in red).

Removing text: If you remove text, the text removed will be highlighted in red on the previous versions.

In this example, the text on the left (highlighted in red) was removed from Revision 2 (the most recent version) and the last sentence in Revision 2 was bolded (markdown code highlighted in green).

No changes: Every time you save, a new revision version will be created. If you save without making any changes, it will still create a new revision version and you won't see any text highlighted because no changes were made.

In this example, no changes were made in between saves, but new versions were created.
