How to use Investment Tracker on iOS and Android

Investment Tracker is a self-managed tool that tracks any asset class. It can be used on the website and on the mobile app; any changes you make to one will update in the other.

The following instructions include:

How to find Investment Tracker

  • Log in and select Tools at the bottom of the screen


How to Add transactions to Investment Tracker

  • Add assets to Investment Tracker by using the '+' symbol

  • Select NZX/ASX or Other

  1. Select Transaction type

  2. If selecting NZX/ASX, a search bar will appear to find the asset. Selecting Other will take you to an entry form.

    Please note, only NZX/ASX listed companies are searchable

  3. Fill out the relevant details in the form: Quantity, Unit cost (price per share), date of purchase etc.

    You're unable to add $0 as the Unit cost

  4. Select Done. Your transaction item will now be added to your Investment Tracker


How to Edit items

  • Edit an asset by selecting the pencil symbol found on the transaction entry

  1. Select the asset you would like to edit

  2. Select the transaction item to edit by touching the pencil icon

  3. Edit the details as necessary

  4. ​Select Done


How to Delete items

  • Following the instructions above, you can delete an entry by selecting the Delete transaction option at the bottom of the edit form

Investment Tracker is not connected to your Forsyth Barr holdings data. This is a tool that is completely customizable and managed by you. Use it to track any assets you choose.
