How To: Get the Frame Set app

Turn Frame Set into a Chrome app or home screen app in iOS

Even though a Frame Set app is not available, there's still a way to keep Frame Set in your dock or as an app on your phone or tablet. Use the app as a shortcut to Search, helping you get the most from your Pro Membership.

This 30 second video will show you the steps to install Frame Set as an app.

How to create an Frame Set app shortcut on iOS:

  1. Visit frameset.app in Safari

  2. Tap the Share icon next to the URL bar in the browser

  3. Tap See More

  4. Tap Add to Home Screen

You will now see a Frame Set app shortcut on your home page that you can tap on to quickly open Frame Set in Safari. You can add it to your dock or put it in a folder of filmmaking apps.

How to install Frame Set as a Chrome app:

  1. Visit frameset.app in Chrome

  2. Click the three vertical dots icon in the top right to open the browser menu

  3. Hover over "Cast, Save and Share..." found near the bottom of the list

  4. Click Install Frame Set in the pop up sub menu.

  5. Click the next Install button to confirm.

You will now be able to treat this shortcut to Frame Set like any other application. Keep it in your dock or as a pinned app so you can quickly jump into a dedicated window for searching Frame Set.

The Chrome app does not display browser navigation buttons, so you will need to right click to open a menu if you wish to go back when browsing.
