To become a licensed real estate salesperson in NH, you must meet the following criteria:
Must be 18 years or older
Must complete the 40 hour pre-licensing course
Must pay a $90 license fee plus a $25 background check fee
Must take the NH real estate exam within 6 months of the pre-licensing course start date
If you fail the exam on your first try, you can retake the exam up to 8 times within 6 months of your first test date
Must apply for the NH license after passing the exam by sending all required paperwork to the New Hampshire Real Estate Commission office
A high school diploma is not required to get a New Hampshire real estate license.
