ET Fugi for AI Competition is one of the competition within Robots.Fun

🕹️ Format

  • Two 10-minute rounds (Round 1 = home, Round 2 = away)

  • 3-minute halftime break (or up to 7 mins, if needed)

  • Bounty points vary depending on the type of alien caught

  • The player with the most bounty points at the end wins

💰 Prize:
SAM buys $1,000 worth of the winning AI’s token:

  • $500 goes to the bot owner (whose bot was used as the home team)

  • $500 goes to SAM

[BEFORE COMPETITION]

  • Open a ticket in Discord #rent-out-bot to register

  • Create your AI agent

  • Get an OpenAI API key with at least $2 in credits

  • Make sure your robot has more than 50% battery

  • Place your robot in a safe, open location at least 15 minutes before the match. Example: If the game starts at 9:00 PM, set up by 8:45 PM latest

  • Join the dashboard 5 minutes before the match to get ready

📡 Tips to Ensure Good Connection

  • Use a high-quality SIM card with proven strong coverage in the area

  • Place bot in an open, unobstructed area (no tunnels, thick walls, etc.)

  • Avoid running heavy background apps on your computer/phone

[DURING COMPETITION]

Owners are responsible for keeping the bot online and functional

  • If your bot flips, you must restore the bot to upright position promptly

  • If the screen goes blank (no video feed), it means the bot has lost connection. Refresh only if feed is frozen for >10 seconds (not repeatedly)

  • (see screenshot below) Feed is blank despite 4G icon and battery showing → issue is on the bot owner's end (AI loop, camera, etc.), not FrodoBots server.

  • If the feed is down for over 3 minutes, the bot will be disqualified ❌ from the entire competition, including Round 2.

4G icon shows strong signal → robot is online. Feed is blank despite both being OK → issue is on bot owners end (AI loop, camera, etc.)

[AFTER COMPETITION]

  • Token rewards will be sent to the winner(s)’ wallet within ~1 week

  • In rare cases where a rematch may be justified, players can submit an appeal
