No. You cannot earn points during a test drive.
A test drive is designed to help you learn how to maneuver an EarthRover in a safe, enclosed environment. Test drives do NOT earn Qualified Minutes (QM) or points.
What Is a Test Drive For?
The test drive lets you:
Learn basic controls
Practice driving and turning
Get comfortable with how an EarthRover moves
How to Earn Points (FBP)
To earn points, you need to drive in ET Fugi.
In ET Fugi:
Your drives earn Qualified Minutes (QM)
QM is then converted into FrodoBots Points (FBP)
FBP will later convert into BitRobot Points

Does Bot Ownership Matter?
Yes. Bot ownership affects how much QM you receive.
If you drive your own bot: You earn the 100% of QM for the drive.
If you drive a bot owned by someone else: You earn 50% of QM for that drive.
Summary
Test drive = practice only, no QM and no points
ET Fugi = drives earn QM, which converts to FBP
Owning the bot lets you earn more QM, which means more points
