Professional Account Withdrawal Policy

Updated this week

The withdrawal framework for Professional Stage accounts is designed to provide trader flexibility while maintaining strict capital protection and risk alignment. Withdrawal eligibility depends on the account remaining above the active drawdown level and maintaining the required post-withdrawal buffer.

Withdrawal Eligibility

A trader may submit a withdrawal request when:

  • The account balance exceeds the active drawdown threshold, and

  • The required post-withdrawal buffer is maintained.

All withdrawal requests are subject to eligibility review prior to processing.

Withdrawal Stages

Stage A: Fewer Than 20 Qualified Trading Days

(A qualified trading day is defined as a day with at least $200 in realized profit.)

While in Stage A:

  • The trader may request up to 50% of available profits above the required buffer.

  • The post-withdrawal balance must remain above the program’s standard buffer level.

(Ex. 50k Acct) For a $50,000 account, this means the balance must remain above $50,100 after the withdrawal.

Buffer levels vary by account tier and are defined in the Drawdown Guidelines

Stage B: 20 or More Qualified Trading Days

Once the trader reaches 20 qualified trading days:

  • The trader may request up to 100% of available profits above the required buffer.

  • The post-withdrawal buffer increases and becomes permanent for the lifetime of the account.

For a $50,000 account, the minimum post-withdrawal balance becomes $50,200.

Drawdown Interaction

Before the drawdown reaches its static lock threshold, a withdrawal may cause the drawdown to reposition upward, as outlined in the Drawdown Guidelines.

After the drawdown locks at its static level, withdrawals do not affect the drawdown position.

Interaction With the Performance Check Account (PCA)

Once a Professional Stage account has fully recovered its drawdown and reached the static lock level, the account is no longer eligible for a Performance Check Account (PCA).

The PCA process applies only while the account is in its development phase and prior to full drawdown recovery.

Minimum Withdrawal Amount

  • Minimum withdrawal amount: $250

  • There is no maximum withdrawal amount other than the available profits above the required buffer

Profit Split

All withdrawals follow the standard profit split:

  • 80% to the trader / 20% to Funded Futures Family

This split applies at all stages and for all account sizes.

Withdrawal Requests and Processing

Withdrawal requests must be submitted by email to:

Each request must include:

  • Full name

  • Professional Stage account number

  • Requested withdrawal amount

All requests are reviewed for eligibility and processed during normal business operations. Processing times may vary based on review and operational requirements.

Summary

The Professional Stage withdrawal system is designed to:

  • Allow withdrawals once the account exceeds the active drawdown

  • Protect capital through defined buffer requirements

  • Differentiate access based on trading consistency

  • Preserve drawdown integrity

  • Eliminate PCA eligibility after full drawdown recovery

  • Maintain clear, enforceable withdrawal rules

This policy applies uniformly to all Professional Stage accounts and is enforced through Live Desk and Risk Management review.
