Prohibited Trading Conduct

What is not allowed on any FFF account, how we check it, and what happens.

We review every account before every payout. Trading that breaks these rules is not paid, even when the account met every plan rule.

How we review

  • We look at your fills, positions, trade times and prices, logins, devices, payment details and identity records. We also compare your trades with every other trader's trades at the same moment.

  • A trade is one position in one market, from the moment you open it until you are flat again. Contracts you add while the position is open are part of the same trade.

  • A mini and its micro count as the same market: NQ and MNQ, ES and MES, YM and MYM, RTY and M2K, GC and MGC, CL and MCL, SI and SIL.

  • Your accounts includes accounts on your profile and accounts on other profiles that our review establishes you own or control. We may use identity, login, device, payment and trading records to establish these connections. Separate account-sharing and household limits also apply.

  • When we hold a payout, we tell you the rule, the account and the dates or trades. See How We Review Payouts.

What is not allowed

1. Hedging across accounts

Holding a long position in one account and a short position in another at the same time, in the same market. This includes:

  • two of your own accounts

  • an Evaluation account against a Funded account

  • your account against another trader's account

  • a mini against its micro, for example long NQ in one account and short MNQ in another

  • two markets that move together, for example long ES in one account and short NQ in another, when it is used to cancel out risk

Any overlap of opposing positions prohibited by this rule counts, regardless of duration.

What happens: once confirmed, every account involved is closed without prior warning, and affected payouts are denied.

2. Coordinated trading

Trading with another person so your trades match theirs, or so one of you takes the opposite side of the other, to pass evaluations or protect funded accounts. This includes signal groups that place the same trades at the same second, and trade copiers connected to someone else's account.

Allowed: copying trades between your own accounts.

What happens: every account involved is closed and is not paid.

3. Sacrificial accounts

Using one account to take a loss so another account can make money. Example: one of your accounts fails on the same day it held the opposite side of another of your accounts.

What happens: every account involved is closed and is not paid.

4. All-or-nothing trading and account rolling

An isolated all-or-nothing trade or account loss does not, by itself, establish account rolling. Repeated all-or-nothing trading or account rolling across accounts may be referred to our Compliance team for review. Enforcement is based on the overall pattern and supporting records, rather than a fixed number or proportion of accounts lost. If your activity is flagged for review, our Compliance team will contact you. See All-or-Nothing Trading and Account Rolling.

What happens: every account affected by account rolling is closed and is not paid. See that article.

5. High-frequency trading

Very large numbers of orders in very short windows, where the profit comes from speed and order count, not from where the market goes. Example: 10 or more separate orders filled in the same second. The Micro-scalping Policy also applies.

What happens: affected trades are removed. The account may be closed on the first occurrence or for repeated conduct, without prior warning.

6. Latency arbitrage

Trading the delay between our price and a faster outside price. Example: very short trades that win most of the time because another price feed has already moved.

What happens: those trades are removed and the account is closed.

7. Stale or wrong prices

Knowingly trading a price that is frozen, delayed or clearly wrong, including fills well away from where the market was trading at that moment. If you see a wrong price, tell support right away.

What happens: affected trades are removed, including wins and losses. Intentional or repeated prohibited conduct results in account closure without prior warning.

8. Execution exploits

Gaming how fills, slippage, the loss limit or other platform rules are calculated, instead of trading the market. Examples:

  • limit orders that fill at prices the market never traded

  • trading on a platform delay at the open, the close or a data outage

  • trading on a gap in how the loss limit or balance is updated

What happens: those trades are removed. If it was on purpose, the account is closed.

9. Quote stuffing

Flooding the platform with orders, changes or cancels.

What happens: the account is closed.

10. Spoofing and layering

Placing orders you do not mean to fill, to make it look like there is buying or selling interest.

What happens: the account is closed.

11. Wash trading

Trading against yourself, directly or through someone else. Example: one of your accounts buys and another sells the same contract, same size, at the same price and the same moment.

What happens: those trades are removed and the accounts are closed.

12. Risk-free setups

Any setup built so you win no matter what the market does, across accounts, markets or promotions. Examples:

  • opposite positions across accounts so one of them passes

  • buying discounted accounts in other people's names

  • using a promotion more times than it allows

What happens: the accounts are closed and not paid. Promotion value is reversed.

13. Bugs and loopholes

Making money from an error instead of reporting it. Examples: a balance that went up without a trade, a payout amount that is wrong, a price glitch.

What happens: the amount is removed. If it was used on purpose, the account is closed. If you report the error before you use it, nothing happens to your account.

14. Account sharing

Anyone other than you trading your account or logging in to your dashboard or platform. This includes paid passing services, sharing a trading device with another trader, and buying in someone else's name.

What happens: see the table below.

15. Bots and automated trading

Bots, algorithms, expert advisors and any automated order entry are not allowed. See Bots/Algorithmic Trading Policy.

What happens: the account is closed.

Rules that already apply

These are unchanged and still apply:

  • Micro-scalping: more than 50% of your trades and more than 50% of your profit must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds. See Micro-scalping Policy.

  • News trading: allowed, but straddles, strangles and news-only gambles are not. See News Trading Policy.

  • CME price limits: no trading within 2% of a contract's CME price limit.

  • Idle accounts: at least one trade held 10 seconds or more every week. See Maximum Account Idle Time.

  • Proxy and bot hosts are not allowed. A personal VPN/VPS is allowed.

  • Restricted countries: see Rules: Restricted Countries / Regions.

What happens, rule by rule

Any confirmed violation of this policy may result in account closure and denial of affected payouts, including on a first occurrence and without prior warning. Depending on the nature, severity and pattern of the conduct, FFF may instead issue a warning, remove affected trades, adjust balances or restrict account access. A warning or lesser action is not guaranteed.
