If your open positions reach a floating loss greater than 1% of your account balance, your account will breach immediately.
The 1% Max Floating Rule is Instant Rapid’s risk-control mechanism for all open trades. It limits the amount of unrealized (floating) loss your open positions can carry. If your floating loss exceeds 1% of your account balance, your account will be breached immediately.
The rule
If your floating loss on open positions ( All active positions ) exceeds 1% of your account balance at any point, your account breaches. This is a hard breach with no warning and no grace period, the moment the 1% threshold is crossed, the account is closed.
Example
Account balance: $10,000 — 1% floating loss threshold: $100. If an open positions unrealized loss reaches $100 or more at any point, the account is breached.
$10,000 Account → 1% limit = $100
Trade 1: -$60
Trade 2: -$40
Total Floating Loss: -$100 → Account Breached
Warning
This rule applies to floating (unrealized) loss on all open positions, separately from your daily and overall drawdown limits. A trade doesn't need to close for this rule to trigger, crossing the 1% threshold while the position is still open is enough.
[Good to know]
This rule applies on top of the standard per-pair lot size limits — it isn't a replacement for them.
