What is Transfer Crypto?

Transfer Crypto is a core feature of Fun's Checkout product. It allows you to easily transfer a number of supported tokens from your exchange or wallet into the dApp you're interacting with. If the connected dApp requires a specific token, Fun will complete all the required bridging and swapping into that token, making your assets compatible with the dApp.

To do this, Fun creates a unique deposit address for you to send your funds into. From there, our routing system will begin to process the funds into the dApp's relevant compatible token and deposit them to your account.

How do I use Transfer Crypto?

The feature was designed to be one of the simplest ways to transfer your tokens into a dApp:

Open Fun Checkout and select Transfer Crypto as a source option
Select which token and chain your assets are on from the dropdown
- Depending on your combination, this may update the deposit address
Scan the QR code or copy the deposit address and paste as the recipient in the withdrawal/transfer page of your exchange/wallet
- This is where you'll specify how much crypto you're transferring
- You must send more than the minimum deposit amount or the funds will not process
Withdraw/transfer the tokens from your exchange/wallet and wait until they're reflected on the dApp
1. You will receive notifications on the Fun widget as your withdraw/transfer processes and completes

FAQs

What are the fees?

Transfer Crypto is quoteless. As we do not know how much you're sending in, we cannot estimate how much you'll receive once fees are accounted for. You can learn more about how we structure fees here.

Are there deposit limits?

MINIMUMS

Direct Deposit has minimum deposit amounts set at the chain level to ensure transactions are completed successfully and gas is covered:
- Ethereum: $50
- Other chains: $10

MAXIMUMS

Fun does not set upper limits for Direct Deposit
- If you withdraw/transfer funds from a centralised exchange there may be maximum limits as set by the application. You can typically find these on the exchange's help guide

How long will it take to receive my funds?

Most assets will be received around 60 seconds after they've been confirmed as leaving your exchange/wallet.

If its been over 10 minutes since you sent your assets, please refer to the "How can I get in touch with Fun" section.

Can I store the deposit address?

We always recommend returning to Checkout on the dApp where you generated your deposit address to ensure they match.
