Why are my folders empty?

If your Outlook folders appear empty, it's likely due to your Fyxer AI settings.


When categories are turned on, emails stay in your inbox and don’t get moved into their matching folders.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Go to your Fyxer AI Dashboard and log in.

  2. Click on Settings > Preferences.

  3. Scroll to "Show in inbox" underneath Email Categorization and toggle OFF the categories you want moved to folders.

  4. Click Update to save.

  5. Try accessing the Outlook Web App to check if the issue is specific to the desktop client.

  6. Manually check your left sidebar in Outlook and confirm the folders (1-8) exist. If they are missing, try reconnecting your email in the Fyxer AI dashboard.

Any changes you make will only apply to emails moving forward - past emails won’t be updated retroactively.
